Stanstead Abbotts is set within the Lea Valley Country Park with the Amwell Nature Reserve just a few minutes away which is one of the most important places for wildlife in the county.
The Nature Reserve forms part of the Lea Valley which connects the site with other nature reserves and habitats along the River Lea and is a prime spot for twitchers and nature enthusiasts.
Hertford
Our leisure moorings based in Hertford are situated in the historic market town, adjacent to the vast green space of Hartham Common.
Hartham Common comprises of wildlife-rich river corridors, cattle grazed meadows and a network of paths and recreational facilities including a new multi-million pound leisure complex.
Hertford is steeped in history with it’s Castle and has a Museum, Theatre, Heritage Trail and Farmers Market.
Sawbridgeworth
Our leisure moorings based in Sawbridgeworth are situated on an island along the River Stort in the historic town of Sawbridgeworth.
Located just on the Hertfordshire/Essex border and within a 2 minute walk to the mainline railway station taking you to Cambridge or London Liverpool Street. Sawbridgeworth has many beautiful areas including Pishiobury Park and facilities including a Leisure Centre, swimming pool, pubs and restaurants.
